The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive sibling.
In the course of testing, it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard flooring. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.
1. iRobot Roomba S9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, including the dirt compartment built into the base of charging. This robot can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules for a truly hands-free experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is set up it can begin automatic cleaning with a single button press. You can select an overall clean which focuses on the elimination of larger particles like cereal and rice. Or you can opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your home is thoroughly cleaned.
This robot vac performs well on both bare floors and carpets with low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some others do and can clean up pet hair with ease. It's not the best time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot claims it will get better in the future with new models.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that concentrates on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it to be able to hug the furniture and walls. It's a nice improvement over the hockey puck-like design of robovacs, but we found it to be only incrementally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also has an advanced filtration system that blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We think this is a nice claim, but not enough to justify a higher price.
Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to keep track of the arrangement of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior of your home. This allows it to avoid obstacles like stairs and other barriers and also to clean your entire home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundary markers, so that it is aware of areas that require extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those of higher-end models and its mopping feature is even better. Its spinning pads do a more impressive job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad.
The only drawback is that it lacks a second rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but it's an affordable cost to pay for if you want to get one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than many of its competitors and filling it up takes only two or three cycles, even when you've got a lot of dirt.
As for the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has, which are less powerful than the high-powered settings, produce little noise, so you can work or even watch television without getting distracted. It will gently hit a wall or furniture and then move away if it comes across one.
The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and will automatically move garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app is adept at alerting you when something is in need of attention, for example, the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled because of a full dust bin.
You can also combine or create actual rooms in order to alter the way Q Revo handles your home. This feature is beneficial when you have different flooring in different areas of your home or when you have to frequently remove clutter, such as clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the top performers in my test and was able to remove debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first pass. It can even clean up spills that are wet, though I recommend cleaning them off with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot in.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop combo and more. The robot is still quite large. It is more than two feet in the height and depth and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7.
This model is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it charges faster and can complete a cleaning of about 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris and click here is easier to empty when required.
The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that is functional even if you are not at home. It also comes with an intelligent routing feature that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a set path.
The X2 Omni is the most effective robot at mopping. Its rotating mop pads remove tough stains and its motor generates lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too and it enhances suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does an excellent job. It is equipped with a large, rechargeable battery that lasts up to seven days. The mopping feature of the robot is also very effective.

The front of the machine is adorned with an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner as you move around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front panel, which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the screen, you'll find one button that basically is a switch for on and off. The button will activate the vacuum. If you click it again, it will shut it off and send it back to its base station. The central control panel has the circular menu which lets you choose cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will open up the app's settings menu where you can tweak the way that the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.
The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map your home. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or small children.
The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability that clears 98.4 percent of the debris from our test on the hard floor and removing all but the most difficult juice stains. The mops also work well and remove 98.4% debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from our hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
